In recognizing the needs of all those who seek an alternate
time of worship, the worship committee have decided to offer. EMS.This new service will begin here at Rockport on May 30th,
2010 at 8:30am. Join us for 30 minutes of contemplative worship and celebration
of Holy Communion each week. This will also allow you to join the summer 9am
Adult Sunday School in Rm. 17 after worship if you so choose. Start your
Sabbath day early this summer.
Summer Worship Schedule
Sunday, May 30th, “Worship in the Woods” begins
in our beautiful outdoor chapel overlooking the Rocky River Reservation at
10:00 am and will continue all summer through Labor Day weekend. Please dress for
the weather. There will be no Jr. Church available this summer so families can
worship together outside in a more relaxed setting. There are children’s
bags with Christian books and Children’s bulletins that follow the
lectionary along with crayons.Please know there are blankets that are available for families to sit on
in the grass, if you so choose.Please ask an usher for a blanket or children’s materials.
